The Asaga Ohafia Development Union (ADU), has expressed tremendous shock at the passing of their spiritual father and son, a renowned world class evangelist, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, whose demise was announced on Monday 13 October, 2025.
The union said Rev. Uma Ukpai’s unwavering dedication, wisdom, and passion for the betterment of Asaga community will continue to inspire and motivate them for generations to come.

On behalf of the Asaga (Ohafia) Development Union (ADU), I extend our heartfelt condolences to you during this difficult time.
The news of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai’s passing is a tremendous shock to us and to our community, leaving an unfill-able void that can never be adequately expressed.
We take solace in the indelible legacy he left behind as a respected son and spiritual father of Asaga, whose unwavering dedication, wisdom, and passion for the betterment of our community will continue to inspire and motivate us for generations to come.
His life was a testament to the power of God, power of service, compassion, and leadership.
