Abia state Governor, Dr Alex Otti says the state will honour the reverend God’s General, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai who will be buried on March 27, 2026.
Speaking at a the official opening and dedication of the newly built fellowship House of Singles and Married International Fellowship outreach, Umuekwule-Umuokpara in Umuahia South L G.A on Saturday March 14, Otti described Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai as a father in the lord and announced that he will be honoured posthumously.
“This is a State that is blessed. And if you are in doubt, I will tell you that our father in the Lord, who is lying now, waiting to be laid to rest, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai hailed from this State.”
“And after his burial, we will honour him in a great way. Because, God used him.
Though the governor did not announce a date for the Posthumous honour, it is expected to happen soon after the burial of the well travelled man of God who touched lives across the world.
Rev. Uma Ukpai will be laid to rest on March 27 at his home town Asaga Ohafia.
