ASAGA OHAFIA DEVELOPMENT UNION (ADU) LAUDS GOVERNOR OTTI’S DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES, THANKS HIM FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF ASAGA-AMUKE ROAD/UGWU IYIEBI BRIDGE
The Asaga Development Union (ADU), an umbrella body that shoulders the development of Asaga Ukwu Community in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia state, on Sunday extended their appreciation to the Governor of the State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti OFR, for approving the ongoing reconstruction of the Asaga-Amuke Road/Ugwu Iyebi Bridge which was long abandoned.
In a statement signed by the President General (PG) of the union, Chief Okpa Ibekwem Okpa, the Secretary General Barr. Obinna Kalu Onugu and the Publicity Secretary, Stanley Mba, the union lauded Governor Otti’s commitment to rural infrastructural development, and appreciated him for his show of love to the people of Asaga and Amuke Ohafia community where the road connects.
They expressed hope that Governor Otti will further extend this show of love by constructing other rural roads in the community to aid the transportation of agricultural produce.
The community also thanked their son and Director General, Greater Ohafia Development Authority (GODA), for his effort in ensuring that the road receives the needed attention, and assured him of their continuous support and cooperation to ensure the smooth Reconstruction of the road.
