The upcoming 10th edition of the Ghana-Nigeria Leadership Summit and Achievers Award, scheduled for September 4 in Abuja, will celebrate a major milestone in West African leadership and cultural diplomacy as Chief Samuel Chukwuma Orakposim is set to receive a distinguished leadership award.
The recognition comes in honour of Chief Orakposim’s exceptional contributions to business, cultural integration, and humanitarian service, particularly in strengthening socio-economic ties between Ghana and Nigeria.
Known by many revered traditional titles such as Ogbuefi Mana Uko Efi, Akpokue Dika na Oba, and Ugo Nechere Ora Na Ghana, Chief Orakposim has built a legacy that spans leadership, philanthropy, and community empowerment.

In the business sphere, Chief Orakposim is the Chief Executive Officer of Samchuks Global Ghana Limited, a company that has played a pivotal role in regional trade and development.
His selection for the leadership award reflects a lifetime of impactful service, characterized by efforts to uplift underprivileged communities and foster cross-cultural unity across West Africa.
In a congratulatory message, the Committee of Friends Club, Oyo State, described Chief Orakposim as “a beacon of hope, an agent of progress, and a man destined for greater heights.”
The message, signed by Rev’d Canon Joseph O. Nwachukwu, praised Orakposim’s integrity, generosity, and steadfast commitment to community service.
“This prestigious award is a fitting testament to his tireless service and enduring contributions to society. We pray for more years of fruitful service, divine favour, and continued excellence for our illustrious brother,” the statement read.
The award ceremony in Abuja is expected to draw leaders from both Ghana and Nigeria and will further cement Chief Orakposim’s standing as a key figure in promoting leadership, unity, and cultural diplomacy in the region.
