The Ohafia Think Home, a socio – cultural group that dignifies humanity, culture and foster community development through an advocacy termed “Okuko Kpara Lua Ulue” which means “Bring Home Your Wealth for Development” said it will on Saturday December 14, 2026 at the Bluespring Hotel and Resort Ebem Ohafia, hold the remembrance and celebration of past Heroes from the 26 communities of Ohafia, in Abia State, Nigeria.

The event with the theme “Honouring Our Heroes, Inspiring Our Future” will focus on one Hero per community.

This was disclosed by the coordinator of the group and Media expert, Stanley Mba on Wednesday February 10, 2026 when he spoke to journalists.

Mba said the decision to remember and celebrate the fallen heroes of the 26 communities, the first of its kind, is the brain child of the founder and known philanthropist, Chief Chukwudi Kalu Agbara, Agumba 1 of Ohafia, in appreciation of their outstanding contributions to the development of their communities and Ohafia at large.

“When you hear their stories, you will value their selflessness and love for their communities, an impact that people of today have failed to emulate”‘.

“Chief Agumba thought it wise to celebrate them in a bid to awaken the “give back to your community spirit” in the lives of the living and encourage every Ohafia son and daughter to make impacts that their communities will remember them for”.
