The leadership of the Asaga Development Union (ADU), has congratulated the good people of Asaga Ohafia and Asaga Ukwu Autonomous Community on the 2025 Iriji Festival and the Ekpe ceremonies that will be held on Saturday September 6 and October 6, 2025 respectively.
In statement signed by the Union’s National Publicity Secretary, Stanley Mba, on Friday, on behalf of the President General (PG), Chief Okpa Ibekwem Okpa and members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), the union extended their warmest felicitations to the sons and daughters of the community.
The Union, which is saddled with the development of the committee prayed that God eill usher in a season of abundance, peace, and prosperity through the auspicious celebration.
The union also commended the community’s rich cultural heritage and reaffirmed it’s commitment to community development.
It called on members of the community to engage visitors during the festival through the beautiful tourist endowments of the community as a means of exposing the community’s tourism potentials to the world and Wished Asaga a joyous and memorable festival!
