Former Actors Guild of Nigeria National Assistant Secretary, Stanley Mba, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Alex Otti of Abia State for recognizing the outstanding contributions of Highlife music legend, Chief Paulson, to the Nigerian entertainment industry.

In a statement, Mba praised Governor Otti for using his office to celebrate and promote Nigerian culture, particularly the creative industry, which has been a significant part of the country’s rich cultural heritage.

“I am thrilled to see Governor Otti honouring Chief Paulson, a man i call father, a legend of Highlife music, for his dedication and service to the industry,” Mba said.

“This gesture is a testament to the governor’s commitment to promoting Nigerian culture and recognizing the contributions of our artistes.”

Governor Otti had previously announced plans to celebrate Chief Paulson’s 80th birthday, along with other notable individuals, as part of his administration’s efforts to recognize and honor outstanding Nigerians.

Mba, a seasoned broadcaster and a film maker who has led the actors guild in Abia state for a number of times, also congratulated Chief Paulson on this well-deserved recognition, wishing him continued success and good health.

The event, which took place in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, brought together prominent figures from the entertainment industry, government officials, family and fans of Highlife music to celebrate Chief Paulson’s achievements.
