Asaga Ohafia Development Union Hails Governor’s 3 Years of Infrastructure Growth, Thanks Him for Honouring Rev. Uma Ukpai
The Asaga Ohafia Development Union has congratulated the Executive Governor of Abia State on his 3rd anniversary in office, praising his administration for what it described as “laudable infrastructural development” across the state.
In a message signed by the Union’s President and Secretary, the group said the past three years have brought visible progress in road construction, urban renewal, healthcare, and education.
“Your focus on practical, people-centered projects has restored confidence and given our people renewed hope,” the statement read.
The Union also expressed gratitude to the Governor for honouring Asaga’s spiritual father, the late Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, by naming a road after him. It noted that the gesture reflects respect for faith, service, and the legacies of those who have contributed to Abia State and beyond.
“The people of Asaga Ohafia hold this honour in high regard and will remain eternally appreciative,” the Union stated.
It concluded by praying for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the Governor as he leads the state, and pledged the Union’s continued support for the administration.

IBINA IHENTA OHAFIA COMMUNITY SAYS OTTI IS GOD SENT, THANKS HIM FOR EQUIPPING HEALTH CENTRE, APPEALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF EBEM IBINA ROAD
The people of Ibina Ihenta Ohafia have expressed sincere appreciation to the Governor Alex Otti led government for renovating and fully equipping the primary health centre (PHC) in their community with the state of the art hospital equipment.
The appreciation was made on Friday when members of the community led by their paramount ruler, Eziego Kalu Awa Kalu Ukoha visited the health centre to have an on the spot assessment of the newly installed medical equipment.
Speaking to Ogori TV, Eziego Kalu Awa Kalu Ukoha applauded Governor Otti for remembering his community after so many years of neglect. The traditional ruler who visibly elated described Governor Otti as God sent.

He says the equipment they now have in the health centre are not even found in many hospitals and expressed appreciation to Governor Otti and his Deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu for showing that their health matters.
He assured of his community’s support and emphasised that wherever the governor is, is where they belong.

Also speaking, Chief Orji Eke Kalu, Chief Iroha Anaga, Ezieogo Kalu Abosi of Ndi Okala community, Ukoha Agwu Ukoha Kalu, and some women of the community said people hardly used the health centre in the past owing its lack of basic hospital equipment.
According to them, the health centre lacked bed and benches were used while the environment both unkept and insecure.

This they said this narrative has however changed following the fencing of the health centre, provision of borehole water and the installation of the new state of the art equipment.

They further asserted that the gesture has given them a great sense of belonging and assured of their commitment to stick with governor Otti and his Deputy by giving them their votes in bulk in 2027.
On the access road to the health centre, the Ezeogo Ukoha appealed to governor Otti to move his road infrastructure magic to the Ebem Ibina Ihenta road to enable them access the health centre smoothly as pregnant women and the sick find it difficult to access the health centre due to the bad road.
Speaking on behalf of women of the community, Mrs Rose Ukoha said the road is impassable now and it is worse during the rainy season, she called on Governor Otti to fix the road for them and assured him of their vote in 2027.
Adding their voices, a Youth leader Mr Agwu Mba Udonsi and Mrs Grace Kalu Udonsi who represented young women of the community thanked the governor in anticipation of his expected positive response to their request.
They eulogized governor Otti for his visible efforts in transforming the state and urged him to extend same gesture to other communities.

Otti’s Outstanding Performance Shows Intentional Leadership – Hon. Chinasa
The Abia Radio and Television Executives (ARTEX) on Tuesday hosted the Abia State Chief Liaison Officer in Abuja, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, who was a guest on its “No holds barred” platform, Media Connect, held in Umuahia, the Abia state capital.
Responding to questions during the engagement, Chinasa expressed satisfaction with the performance of the governor, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, stating that the governor’s cherished performance is a proof of an intentional leadership.

He noted that the governor’s development blueprint is aimed at positioning Abia State as a major industrial hub capable of attracting investors, businesses, and residents from across Nigeria and beyond.
Chinasa asserted that the ongoing infrastructural upgrades, investment-friendly policies, and governance reforms are already yielding visible results.

The 2023 Labour party flag bearer for Bende Federal Constituency expressed optimism that the state would experience significant transformation in the next two years following the plans of the governor.
On if he will run for an elective position in 2027, Chinasa said if his party decides to give him ticket, he will not disappoint and reaffirmed his continued affiliation with the Labour Party.
He also described Governor Otti his Boss and mentor, an investment magnet, noting that investor confidence has grown because of the verifiable transparency, stability, and policy direction under Otti’s leadership.
According to him, the governor has also helped to demystify executive leadership by promoting accessibility, accountability, and practical governance focused on measurable development outcomes.

OWUWA ANYANWU AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY THANKS GOVERNOR OTTI FOR POSITIVE RESPONSE TO THEIR PLIGHT
The people of Owuwa Anyanwu Autonomous Community in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, have sent their heartfelt appreciation to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti for his commitment in ensuring that the Nkwebi – Ndi Aku – Ndi Uduma Ukwu – Oboro Ozuobam Road and the gully erosion ravaging the area is fixed.

The commendation was made by the Anyanwu 1 of Owuwa Anyanwu Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Elder Odum Amogu, following the visit of engineers from the Abia state ministry of environment to the erosion sites which has affected major parts of the road and their farm lands.
He said “Governor Otti is a man of his words, I have no doubt he will fulfil the promised he made during the media chat to fix this road for us”.
“This road has not been touched since the Mbakwe era and Ndi Aku, Ndi Uduma Ukwu and Oboro Communities have suffered for decades as a result of this road. Can you believe that a child born during the rainy season will not see any vehicle in these communities until the dry season? That is how bad it has been”.
Recall, Governor Otti had during the January 2026 media chat tagged “Governor Alex Otti Speaks to Abians” promised to add the construction of the road to the supplementary budget if it is not captured in the 2026 budget.

Eze Amogu and other members of the communities who trouped out en masse to receive the engineers from the Ministry of Environment thanked Governor Otti for his developmental strides across the state and called on the governor to remain focused despite distractions from some quarters.
They vowed not to relent in supporting Governor Otti and to protect every government infrastructure that will be put in place in their communities
